After a much-talked-about and globally celebrated wedding at Zahran Palace earlier today, newlyweds Rajwa Al-Saif and Prince Hussein of Jordan made their way over to the Al Husseiniya Palace in a motorcade procession for their wedding reception, which was just as eventful as their wedding ceremony. For the celebration, the bride made her second public appearance for the day in a look that instantly drew everyone’s attention.

After saying ‘I do’ in an understated Elie Saab bridal gown featuring an asymmetrical neckline, full sleeves, and a trailing veil, newlywed Rajwa Al-Saif greeted guests this evening in a fit-and-flare Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda gown. The look was quite a departure from her bridal pick, with a much more elaborate silhouette and intricate embroidery in the shape of large swirls. The cap sleeved gown also came with a deeper neckline, and was styled with elbow length gloves. As for her beauty look, the future Queen of Jordan chose to have her hair pinned up, but accessorized with the very same jewelry from the wedding ceremony. What makes her tiara extremely special is the fact that the bespoke piece was also engraved with some special words, which were whispered to her at the henna party by her new mother-in-law, Queen Rania.

Complementing his new wife perfectly, Prince Hussein looked handsome as ever in black and yellow military regalia. While the mother of the groom was seen in an earthy Elie Saab creation, the Princess of Wales stepped into the reception in a sparkling pink Jenny Packham gown.

Below, take a closer look at Rajwa Al-Saif’s very first ensemble as a member of the Jordanian royal family.
