An official press release describes the logo as a “unique representation of our celebration” while explaining that the chosen word is Nafrah, Arabic for ‘we rejoice’. While traditional typography and simple Arabic calligraphy have been used to pay homage to Jordanian cultural authenticity and identity, the word Nafrah is also divided into two sections to amplify Prince Hussein and Al Saif’s initials. The logo has also been released in a bilingual version, carrying the date of the wedding along with the words “Jordan’s Royal Wedding”

Prince Hussein and Al-Saif, who is a Saudi national, are set to be wed with a religious ceremony at Zahran Palace, where King Abdullah and Queen Rania got married in 1993, followed by a reception at Al Husseiniya Palace which will be attended by royals and dignitaries from around the world.

With this upcoming celebration, Jordan will witness the second royal wedding of the year. Just a few months ago on March 12., Princess Iman of Jordan got married to Jameel Alexander Thermiotis after her brother, Prince Hussein, walked her down the aisle.
