Today marks a special moment in the lives of Jordan’s royal family! Just minutes ago, Queen Rania announced the engagement of her daughter Princess Iman bint Abdullah, to Jameel Alexander Thermiotis. The news was shared with well-wishers not just on the royal’s Instagram account, but also by the Royal Hashemite Court. According to reports, the soon-to-be-married couple celebrated their big moment in the presence of both King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, along with Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, and the family members of Thermiotis.

A closer look at Princess Iman’s sparkling engagement ring

To mark her daughter’s big moment, Queen Rania shared a sweet image of the duo with a heartfelt message: “Congratulations my dearest Iman; your smile has always been a gift of love that I’ve cherished since the day you were born. I wish you and Jameel a life filled with love and laughter!” In their very first public photograph as a couple, Princess Iman and Jameel smiled for the camera dressed in elegant ensembles. The bride-to-be beamed in an ivory dress with delicate pleats, while her groom opted for a fail-safe black suit and a white shirt that complemented her look perfectly. By the looks of it, Princess Iman’s engagement ring is a classic design that has stood the test of time: a sparkling princess-cut diamond, set in a pavé band.

As of now, no details about the royal wedding have been shared on any platforms, but Princess Iman bint Abdullah’s big day is likely to be a grand affair. Here’s wishing the young couple the brightest of futures together.
