The Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan has announced that Princess Iman bint Abdulla II and her fiancé Jameel Alexander Thermiotis will be wedded later this week on March 12, 2023.

Princess Iman is the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan and made headlines last year when her engagement was announced. The Royal Family of Jordan is known for being private and protective about their personal lives which is why not many details have been revealed yet. However, speculations about the venue or what the princess will be wearing are abundant.

A likely venue is the Amman Zahran Palace, the traditional choice of the Jordanian royal family – both her parents and grandparents had tied the knot at Amman Zahran.  As a royal who is known for her sense of style, something she has likely inherited from her mother, her wedding dress is understandably going to be an ensemble worth the wait.

On her nuptials, Queen Rania had opted for British designer Bruce Oldfield, and the princess mat follow in her mother’s footsteps or champion a regional designer. The relationship between the two has always been close with the pair often appearing together at public events. The announcement of Princess Iman’s wedding date was followed by an emotional post from the Queen herself, “My precious Iman, I am so happy for you and so proud of everything that you are.”

Born in Caracas, Venezuela the princess’s fiancé is of Greek descent. Thermiotis graduated in 2015 with a degree in Business Administration and Business from Florida International University before leading his own venture capital firm, Outbound Ventures LLC. The financier now works as a managing partner at a venture capital firm in New York.
