Lebanese Singer and Actor Maritta Hallani Skipped Gowns for a Bridal Jumpsuit at Her Civil Wedding Ceremony

Just a few minutes ago, Maritta Hallani, daughter of Lebanese music icon Assi Hallani, made a big announcement on Instagram. The actor-singer offically tied the knot with Anghami Studios’ Kamil Abi Khalil in what seems to have been an intimate, and beautifully put-together ceremony. Here’s a first look.

Maritta Hallani said ‘I do’ in a bridal jumpsuit

The newlywed dropped the news with a picture-perfect shot of the couple at their civil wedding ceremony, standing arms linked and sharing a special moment. For the wedding, Hallani made an elegant bride in an understated Elie Saab look that was anything but basic. Instead of opting for a gown as most brides do, Hallani went with a more modern approach, wearing a jumpsuit with long cut-out sleeves and a high neck, which she complemented with a white fascinator from Centimes Bourgeois Headpieces. In her hands she held a pristine white bouquet of blooms. Looking ever so dapper alongside her, Kamil Abi Khalil went the classic route for the wedding in a sharp black suit styled with a navy blue tie.

A closer look at Maritta Hallani’s bridal beauty look

One of the most popular bridal beauty trends at the moment is less-is-more makeup, and Hallani clearly didn’t miss the memo. For her special day, the 26-year-old was all about that newlywed glow, and looked to Dubai-based makeup pro Gaelle Hanna to amp up her sculpted cheekbones with hints of blush, and add to the romantic aesthetic with lush lashes and glossy pink-nude lips. The hairstyling team at Tony El Mendelek’s salon gave the bride a simple hairdo for the occasion: a wavy side ponytail that allowed her ebony locks to cascade down her shoulder without taking away from the grace of her overall look. Watch the video below for a closer look at her outfit and beauty look, along with more snippets from the couple’s ring exchange ceremony and vows.

What you missed from Maritta Hallani’s outdoor henna celebration

Prior to her wedding, Hallani also took to Instagram to share a few videos from her henna celebration, which took place at her father’s farm in Hallanieh. The rustic decor for the ceremony was perfectly curated by none other than Roni Bassil, who brought together vintage wooden furniture, colorful lanterns, throw pillows, countless candles and lots of lavender to set the scene for the couple. The celebration, which took place at sunset, was full of happy moments, music, and of course, dancing.

Maritta Hallani’s romantic henna look

For her henna bash, Maritta Hallani opted for a white Kaftish kaftan with delicate gold embroidery, and topped her look off with a gold Grecian-style headband. Groom Kamil Abi Khalil danced the evening away in head-to-toe black.

Quite the departure from her civil wedding look, the henna bash saw Hallani embrace a more carefree, romantic beauty look. Sculpted waves worked perfectly with her kaftan, and soft smoky eyes and glossy copper lips completed her look.
