Behind-the-Scenes of Our 5th Anniversary Shoot with Amina Muaddi, Huda Kattan, and Nadine Nassib Njeim

This month, Vogue Arabia is celebrating its fifth anniversary with an issue that celebrates the achievements of all Arab women who are representing the region globally. And so, starring on its cover are accessory designer Amina Muaddi, actor Nadine Nassib Njeim, and beauty mogul Huda Kattan, whose work and journeys to success have resonated with and inspired women around the world. “When you make your dreams come true as an Arab woman, you know that you are a role model for a lot of other Arab women out there. This is a proud moment in itself, but at the same time, it is a huge responsibility,” shares Njeim from the set. “When you’re starting your career, a lot of the times you are very insecure, sometimes doubt yourself, and that can be really challenging,” adds Kattan, who now looks back on her career path with gratitude. “I think the thing that I love about my leadership journey, is that it has given me so much confidence. I feel very secure with who I am now.” Muaddi offers advice from her own personal experience, saying, “I think the most important thing is to follow your passion, I think its important to not get discouraged because nothing happens right away—it takes a lot of work and sometimes it can take a lot of disappointment.”
