"My mother's pendant passed on to me from the 80's creates the perfect juxtoposition with HKD jewelry. I wear it daily. I have a special connection to this piece as the image of my mother wearing it growing up is still imprinted deeply in my memory."

"The Noir Baguette is a new item I'm currently experimenting with. Expect it to be lying everywhere in the studio. Its a kind of a bejeweled bag/sleeve to store cigarettes and makeup when going out. It's a reinterpretation of Art Deco's cigarette box once used by the elite who party. The red silk and brown velvet go well with our branding and Tadao Ando's interior. Also always on my desk are Céline's accessories and ready-to-wear."

Robert Breer's sculptural work is always inspiring when it comes to designing domed, radial, and playful forms. This specific book was designed by Ghaya Bin Mesmar, who also happens to design HKD's branding and collaterals."
