HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, took to Instagram and shared a series of heartwarming pictures from his childhood earlier this week. Seemingly keeping pace with Instagram’s new ‘photo-dump’ trend, the royal gave his fans a glimpse into his early days with his latest post.
The picture series showed photos of the royal, lovingly known as Fazza, growing up in the country, as well as snaps with his father, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and the UAE Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The post was captioned “Hamdan” and showed snippets of different activities, from desserts to camel races and official events with his father.
The father-of-two also shared a picture of himself with his brother, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, when they were young, where the duo was seen wearing brown kanduras, and holding out a camel racing trophy.

Being an active user on the social media platform, Sheikh Hamdan occasionally shares adorable moments with his fans. Earlier this year, he shared a series of pictures from a family holiday to the Swiss Alps. Clad in bright-colored classic ski gear and sunglasses, Sheikh Hamdan was seen playing in the snow with his father and siblings.
In March, the 39-year-old also shared pictures of him as a youngster, playing outdoors. In one of them, the crown prince was seen climbing a tree, while in the second one, he’s seen enjoying a game of ice hockey. Sheikh Hamdan also shared an adorable photo of his son Rashid and him flying the kite over the weekend.
The post was captioned, “Kiteflying. Brings back memories”. Although the location of the picture is not revealed in his post, it is deemed to have been captured during his visit to the F3 Stables in the UK, as the royal posted pictures a month ago dressed in the same outfit. On that day, he was seen introducing his son to one of his favorite horses, Alshemaime.
