Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Hussein and his wife Princess Rajwa Al Hussein are undoubtedly among the most talked about royals this year. Now, the pair has once again made headlines by attending the 11th edition of the King Abdullah II International Basketball Cup.
Their support for the Jordanian team was felt not only through their attendance, but also through their matching ensembles. The newlyweds, who tied the knot on June 1, were spotted wearing matching black T-shirts with a print that paid homage to the Jordanian flag. As the national team secured victory against Mexico, the prince and princess seemed more than elated, and Prince Hussein was later seen celebrating and taking photos with the team.
This is not the first time that the couple has stepped out in coordinated outfits in public. Earlier this year, in January, the pair made a rare public appearance before their wedding as they visited an art workshop for the blind in Amman. Social media was soon raving about their matching black ensembles, and even more so about Princess Rajwa’s elegant sense of style.
With the Jordanian Falcons on a victory streak since the tournament started, we can hold onto the hope of more public appearances from the royals, more so with Jordan qualifying for the World Cup starting on August 25. This is only the third time that the team has qualified, making it a source of pride for both the nation and the royal family.
