No one is immune to the dizzying joy of a royal wedding, and the region’s state of mind at the moment serves as proof. With each day, we come closer to the much-talked-about nuptials of Rajwa Al-Saif and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan, which will take place on June 1, 2023. And the excitement cannot be contained.

Building up to the special moment, the royal family of Jordan recently shared the couple’s wedding logo with the world: the word Nafrah, Arabic for ‘we rejoice’, written to highlight Prince Hussein and Al Saif’s initials. And just days later, Vogue Arabia has received not one, but four never-seen-before photographs of the future queen of Jordan. If you’ve been following Rajwa Al-Saif for a while now, you can’t miss these.

Rajwa Al-Saif and Prince Hussein of Jordan’s unseen engagement pictures

It was back in August 2022 that the world got a first glimpse of Rajwa Khaled Bin Musaed Bin Saif Bin Abdulaziz Al Saif, the beautiful Riyadh-born 28-year-old who has stolen Prince Hussein’s heart. A graduate from College of Architecture at Syracuse University, Al-Saif made her debut as the future queen of Jordan dressed in an elegant white abaya embroidered with two birds, representing two lovers, by Lebanese label Orient 499. While the couple announced their engagement with a series of portraits, these new images share more intimate moments from their special day. While one snapshot shows Rajwa affectionately fixing her husband-to-be’s tie, another captures a tender moment where Prince Hussein is seen admiring his partner. A third serves as a portrait of Rajwa, sharing more details of her look and jewelry from the occasion.

Rajwa Al-Saif’s equestrian portrait

With each day, the world learns more and more about Rajwa Al-Saif. In case you haven’t heard, the bride-to-be loves horses, and her new portrait shows her spending time doing what she loves. In this frame, Al-Saif stands proud alongside her horse, dressed in an oversized pinstriped blazer, smart black trousers, and a roomy white shirt. If you follow Prince Hussein on Instagram, you may remember this shirt from the recent picture he posted on occasion of Al-Saif’s birthday on April 28. While it has not been confirmed, one can assume that the two portraits were taken on the same day.

According to reports, Rajwa Al-Saif and Prince Hussein will tie the knot with a religious ceremony at Zahran Palace, where King Abdullah and Queen Rania got married in 1993. The wedding ceremony will be followed by a reception at Al Husseiniya Palace which will be attended by royals and dignitaries from around the world. With the amount of love the Jordan royal family has garnered over the years, this union is bound to be one that the whole world will celebrate with the royal couple.
