This year, Vogue Arabia will be hosting a two-day block party — also known as Hai Vogue — marking the publication’s first large-scale event in the Kingdom. And it’s open to the public! Where is Hai Vogue taking place?
The very first edition of Hai Vogue will be lighting up the neighborhood of Al Balad, located in the heart of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The UNESCO World Heritage Site has long been admired by locals and international travelers for its stunning architecture, its unique spirit, and of course, its expansive network of local cats — hence the cat silhouette in Hai Vogue‘s logo.
Literally translating to ‘the town’, Al Balad isn’t just a picturesque location, it’s also a locality that holds a special place in the hearts of those who live in the Kingdom. Jeddah’s oldest neighborhood is home to colorful buildings that can be traced as far back as the 19th century, and was once also a major port for Indian Ocean trade routes. Perhaps the characteristic that makes Al Balad the most special to the region is the fact that it was also seen as a gateway for Muslim pilgrims to Mecca who arrived by sea. Today, the area is best known for its lovingly restored buildings, homegrown cafés, and designer showrooms, making it a creative hub worth noting. What better location for Vogue Arabia’s block party?
When does the festival begin?
Spread across two days, Hai Vogue will begin on the evening of February 8, 2024 with a grand opening ceremony replete with exciting surprises, including a live reveal of our February 2024 cover. The event will carry on to February 9, and both days of the festival will run on into the wee hours of the night.
What can I expect from Hai Vogue?
“Ever since the launch of Vogue in the region, the promotion and support of Saudi creatives and regional crafts is a priority for our publication,” says editor-in-chief Manuel Arnaut. “This event brings these efforts to life, in a one-of-a-kind experience that merges fashion, culture, and entertainment with a unique Saudi flair, and in a very Vogue way.”
An amalgamation of fashion, beauty and culture, Hai Vogue will treat guests to a one-of-a-kind experience that will spotlight some of the most interesting talents in the region and beyond. Visitors can expect to enjoy an expansive line-up of live musical performances by local and international artists — stay tuned for more updates on who you can catch! — along with fashion and beauty pop-ups by a handpicked selection of brands, and a vast range of scrumptious on-the-go food experiences. Also on the agenda are live interactions with graffiti artists, poetry reading, and a special talk featuring three Arab designers on our radar right now.
Another major feature at Hai Vogue will be the incredible installations set up by some of the most-followed international brands in the world, giving visitors the opportunity to connect with each label in a playful and interactive, but much deeper way. Get ready to get up close and personal with the likes of fashion labels Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo, Aigner, Steve Madden and Birkenstock, along with beauty favorites Dyson, House of Creed, Kiko Milano, Joelle Mardinian and Saudi Arabia’s very own Asteri, and Jazeera Paints. Streaming giant Netflix will also be taking part in the festival.

Spread over two days, Hai Vogue is brimming with exciting performances, talks, and presentations. Here’s a look at what’s on the schedule.
Day 1
Kicking off with a grand opening ceremony, the first day of Hai Vogue will feature a recital session with Saudi author and spoken word artist Amal Alharbi — best known as the name behind the book ‘Indeed’ — for VIP ticket holders and handpicked guests. Those in attendance will also get to witness the live reveal of Vogue Arabia’s February 2024 cover. This is one launch you do not want to miss.
Between musical performances — and a very special Hejazi dance performance — through the evening, the opening day will also bring together three Saudi designers — namely Yousef Akbar, Alia and ABeer Oraif of Atelier Hekayat, and Mohammed Khoja of Hindamme — for an insightful talk about creativity and fashion in the Kingdom. As for the tunes you can look forward to, the line-up of Day 1 features Saudi pop star Mishaal Tamer, the kingdom’s first female DJ Cosmicat, and DJ HIFI!
Day 2
The second day of Hai Vogue comes packed with unmissable performances. Among the most exciting names on the list for Day 2 is none other than former Vogue Arabia cover star, Saudi singer and songwriter TamTam. Having used her voice to empower Middle Eastern women for years, TamTam is no stranger to making an impact. Her performance at Hai Vogue promises to be one to remember.
During Hai Vogue, the much-awaited Netflix series Al Rawabi School for Girls will also enjoy a moment in the spotlight. Get ready for the Saudi premiere of Season 2, Episode 1, right in the heart of Jeddah! Along with all of this, Hai Vogue will also see some noteworthy guests in attendance. With the kickoff date just around the corner, tickets are now available online for you and your friends. While a One Day General Access ticket, priced at SAR 200, will allow guests general access to the main festival venue for their chosen day, SAR 350 will earn you general access to both days of Hai Vogue, ensuring you don’t miss a moment — or a musical performance by your favorite singers and DJs.
At SAR 650, the VIP Weekend Pass will allow guests fast track access across both days and free valet parking, along with entry into Hai Vogue‘s special VIP lounge and exclusive events, including the opening ceremony.
