5 things to know about DJ Malkin, before you see him perform at Hai Vogue.
He pursued music professionally after attending the first SoundStorm festival in 2019
Malkin professed that despite being involved in the creative scene for quite some time, he did not see the opportunity to pursue it professionally until he attended the launch of SoundStorm Festival. Witnessing the incredible support for music inspired him to hone his own skills and kickstart his creative journey.
He is one of the first Saudi artists to produce electronic dance music (EDM)
The Jeddah-based artist was one of the first in the region to venture into the electronic dance music (EDM) genre. Malkin’s talent soon garnered the attention of MDLBeast Records, which was the first record label to sign him.
He produced his first single before his first live performance
Malkin’s first ever live performance was in 2021, at the SoundStorm Festival, where he produced his first ever single called ‘YAW,’ inspired by Australian DJ/producer Fisher, which earned him second place in the Best Dance Music category on Anghami.

Along with Fisher, he is inspired by David Guetta, Martin Garrix, and Afrojack
It’s no surprise that Malkin finds the work of David Guetta, Martin Garrix, and Afrojack inspiring, given that each is a pioneer in their own right. Just like his favorite artists, DJ Malkin too is a pro at producing his own hits and performing engaging sets for his audience.
He works on his music on a weekly basis
To keep up with the latest buzz, the Saudi DJ curates his mixes and sets every week, which ensures his music is just as entertaining for his recurring fans, and they experience a different vibe every time he performs.
