Zuhair Murad shared a taste of things to come from his latest Spring 2017 Haute Couture collection, set to be unveiled today in Paris at the Hôtel Potocki. The Beirut-based designer shared a video via the brand’s Instagram page featuring a plunging asymmetric jacket. Revisiting peplum, the silhouette is cut with large folds at the front. The jacket’s hemline, lapels, and cuffs are delicately hand embroidered in swirling floral motifs; tailored skinny-fit pants complete the look. Known for its sheer details, glittering embellishments across sweeping ball gowns, lace dresses, and fitted jumpsuits, we anticipate an unexpected attitude from the Lebanese fashion house this season.
