Revisit Some of Zuhair Murad’s Most Iconic Dresses

From red-carpet looks to bridal gowns, Zuhair Murad has been a constant favorite of A-list celebrities. The Lebanese couturier has dressed international superstars such as Beyoncé, Priyanka Chopra, Jennifer Lopez, and Jennifer Anniston in stunning silhouettes on several occasions.

Since opening his first atelier in 1997, Murad’s bridal couture has taken the world by storm. Hollywood star Sofia Vergara’s iconic bridal dress took 1,657 hours to create and was carefully crafted with more than 11 pounds of sequins, 6 pounds of pearls, and 350 hand-beaded crystals. In an interview with Vogue Arabia, Murad mentioned one of his proudest moments was when he made Jennifer Lopez’s Met Gala gown in 2010 which took over 1,000 hours to make and embodied grace. The couturier has been the top pick for massive events – who can forget the showstopping crystal-embellished gown worn by Russian soprano Aida Garifullina during her performance at the opening ceremony of 2018 FIFA World Cup in Moscow?
