From feather dresses with amplified movement to intricately embroidered gowns, Zuhair Murad delivered an ethereal couture collection yesterday. American illustrator Charles Dana Gibson’s Gibson Girl illustrations from the 1890s served as the impetus for the Zuhair Murad Fall 2017 couture collection. Gibson’s drawings feature independent beautiful women, which Murad sought to bring to life on the catwalk at the Avenue de Friedland.
