Zendaya stepped out in a vintage Roberto Cavalli number at the 2024 Green Carpet Fashion Awards.
Trust Zendaya to continue her streak of stunning vintage outfits even outside of the press tour for Dune: Part 2. After taking the internet by storm with her wardrobe full of method-dressing looks for the film’s promotion, the 27-year-old returned to showcasing her personal style at the 2024 Green Carpet Fashion Awards. The event in Los Angeles saw Zendaya step out in an archival Roberto Cavalli dress, picked from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection.
The floor-grazing gown came in a dusty gray hue, combining animal patterns with various textures, and fringes, which may soon be a trend that takes over this season. Tassels were seen all over Elie Saab’s Fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection and were also a statement detail in the iridescent Rami Kadi dress Nadine Nassib Njeim wore to this year’s Ball of Arabia. For jewelry, Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach paired the gown with Bulgari Serpenti bracelets snaked around the star’s arms. The actor also opted for a pared-down glam for the evening, letting her long hair have its moment in the spotlight. The hairdo had been a version of Zendaya’s most recent look for the NYC premiere of Dune: Part 2, where she sported long, cascading curls reaching her waist.
Zendaya attended the 2024 Green Carpet Fashion Awards as the co-chair of the event founded by Vogue Arabia’s sustainability editor-at-large Livia Firth and her agency Eco-Age. Joining Zendaya as co-chairs were Firth, actors Cate Blanchett, Helen Hunt, Julianne Moore, founder of The Circle NGO Annie Lennox, Minister of Indigenous People of Brazil Sônia Guajajara, and Ugandan climate justice activist Vanessa Nakate. The annual event harnesses the collective power of fashion and entertainment to honor individuals and organizations that are crucial to collective transformation.
