There are many ways of wearing metallics, but Egyptian icon Yousra may have found the most joy-inducing one. Unconvinced? Check out three of the actor’s most recent outfits, all of which feature metallics as the star of the look. For her latest appearance in the series Fingerprint on Asharq Discovery, the former Vogue Arabia cover star opted for three statement outfits in dazzling fabrics—each one further cementing her penchant for bold, head-turning style.

The first look consisted of a voluminous gold Stephane Rolland gown with a wide collar and a flared-out skirt. Styled by Cedric Haddad, Yousra paired the dress with chunky gold bangles and oversized earrings for a maximalist aesthetic, while her glam featured swept-back hair and a deep red lip. Next up, Yousra’s second look for the series’ promotion came in a rich shade of purple, which glimmered in a pleated off-shoulder kaftan by Oscar de la Renta. Yousra completed this ensemble with a diamond choker by Iram Jewelry, and sported her signature hairstyle with a bold red pout.

Finally, to round out the spectacular trifecta of metallic outfits, Yousra looked to Lebanese designer Dima Ayad, whose namesake brand is known for its standout silhouettes and shimmering fabrics. The dress favored by Yousra came in pale gold and cream stripes, a one-shoulder neckline, and a dropped waistline. The actor styled the dress with matching metallic accessories and wore her hair to the side to complement the dress, while her makeup featured defined lashes and a glossy nude lip.
Although most associated with the festive season, metallics are a major trend to look out for in 2024 as golds and silvers are set to be one of the hottest color trends of the year.
