Women in Black: The BAFTAs 2018 Red Carpet

At Sunday’s 71st British Academy Film Awards in London, the red carpet echoed that of January’s Golden Globes awards. Actors, directors, and industry insiders showed their solidarity for the #TimesUp movement, an initiative launched by 300 prominent actresses to fight sexual misconduct, founded in the wake of allegations against high-powered men, through their sartorial choices of wearing all black. Many actors including Andrea Riseborough and Angelina Jolie brought human rights activists as their dates, proving that the evening was all about unity.
