Last night, in Paris’ 17th arrondissement, a multi-story building was filled to the brim with dozens of petites mains who were working into the late hours finishing the couture pieces ahead of today’s Ralph & Russo Spring 2019 Couture show. Invited to the atelier, Vogue Arabia editor-in-chief Manuel Arnaut and features director Caterina Minthe chatted with creative director Tamara Ralph and super stylist Elizabeth Saltzman who were overseeing late night fittings on models including Winnie Harlow. Ralph revealed that the show will offer a punchy South American flair where optimistic pastel colors and decadent beading will be central to the show.
The British couture house also offers ready-to-wear and pre-collections. It dressed Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, for her official engagement photos last year, along with Jessica Biel at the Emmy Awards, and is a red carpet favorite among A-listers like Angelina Jolie, Priyanka Chopra, Bella Hadid, Jennifer Lopez and many more.
