But this season, leather take on form-flattering skirts, body-hugging trousers, tops decorated with silver hardware, and chunky, ankle boots. From the belted trench as seen at Proenza Schouler Fall 2017 to the leather berets spotted at Dior, there are multiple sartorial directions you can go in. For an unconventional take on the trend, pair an asymmetrical zip jacket over a long, sheer gown. Or, opt for a flared, high-shine leather dress for a street style edge. All that’s needed to complete the look is a pair of black sunglasses and a renegade attitude.
