Lockdown 2.0 is looming in England and Victoria Beckham already has her WFH fall wardrobe prepped. While the first period of quarantine saw the popstar-turned-designer work remotely from the Cotswolds in denim shorts, relaxed shirting, and Drew House slides (yes, you read that correctly), this time around it’s back to business for VB.

Beckham shared a series of Instagram Stories with her followers, in which she showed off the pieces she has personally ordered from her namesake brand’s fall/winter 2020 collection. “I have to say, [the edit] is one of my favorites,” she says while flicking through a rail of new-season clothes in quintessential fall colorways. “There are so many great pieces; lots of great shirtings, great culottes, great skirts, incredible knits.” One particular mustard V-neck jumper with jacquard detailing on the torso is Beckham’s latest obsession.

“David is going to freak out when he sees all these clothes in the dressing room,” VB continues, giving her fans the familial titbits they lap up about the Beckhams. “It’s not only dropped in my dressing room but online and in stores.” Ever the businesswoman and her best brand ambassador, Beckham has been drip-feeding looks from her fall/winter 2020 collection via Instagram for some time. A key focus for the season is the interlocking hand belt, which she has been clasping around pleated skirts and fluid black dresses for date nights with David.

“I had a great summer, but I am so excited to slip into some of these winter looks,” adds Beckham, before signing off her personal fashion broadcast. Absent from the Insta frames were the thigh-high platform boots in black, white, red, and beige, which she used to “throw things off in a little bit of a strange way” during the fall/winter 2020 show. Expect to see Beckham paying tribute to her Posh Spice past this winter, when go-go boots were a ’90s staple, as she zig-a-zig-ahs through her country pile without a Justin Bieber-designed slipper insight.
