In Pictures: The Evolution of the Victoria Beckham Brand

It has been a decade since Victoria Beckham took the plunge and transitioned from Posh Spice into a fully fledged creative director of her very own fashion house. From the debut collection – a ready-to-wear line-up of versatile dresses and ladylike separates for Spring 2009 – up to Spring 2011, brand Victoria Beckham was showcased in presentations before adopting the runway format. Beckham herself didn’t take her first formal bow in front of the industry until the Fall 2012 season (for Spring 2019 she decided to eschew the final bow). When she did finally take to the close of the runway show, she opted for a classic LBD paired with matching black pumps. Much like her collections, Beckham’s style has shifted from form-fitting dresses and bombshell catsuits to relaxed, hyper-clean pieces and subtle, feminine fabrics. Alongside her namesake brand, VB has rocketed to being one of the most influential women in fashion.
