One of the most celebrated things at the Venice International Film Festival is the red-carpet fashion. The 76th year of the festival took off Wednesday, August 28, bringing together the fashion and entertainment industry’s biggest names at the historic Palazzo del Cinema.
Day one saw creations by Armani Prive, and Gucci, while, Italian fashion house Etro stole the show with the most number of looks. From French actress Catherine Deneuve’s floor-length dress and sleeveless orange coat by Jean Paul Gaultier to French model Gabrielle Caunesi’s sparkly Rami Kadi dress, the cinematic celebration has already served up many standout style moments.
