The 75th annual Venice Film Festival is in full swing, and with it have come many style moments that will live on after the festival has closed. Held at the Palazzo del Cinema di Venezia and running until September 8, the festival will showcase niche films, documentaries, and world premieres throughout its run. And while the movies tend to be the main attraction at the annual event, the red carpets of many premieres provide plenty of memorable fashion moments from actresses, filmmakers, models, and socialites, who make the annual pilgrimage to the Italian city wearing their glittering best.
Wednesday night’s opening ceremony saw Clémence Poésy, wearing an embellished, denim Erdem gown, and fellow jury member Naomi Watts, looking pretty in pink in an Armani Privé column dress. The storied Italian maison also found fans in models Sara Sampaio, who demanded a double take in a white, floor-trailing gown adorned with an oversized bow, and Barbara Palvin, who opted for a leg-baring, printed minidress.
