As an up-and-coming model, it’s one thing to walk for any show during Paris Fashion Week. It’s another when said show is Chanel. Meet Azza Slimene, the Tunisian model who made her Chanel catwalk debut in Karl Lagerfeld’s autumn-themed Fall 2018 runway held at the Grand Palais today. Wearing a leaf-printed blazer overtop a collared dress shirt, sheer tights, and brown knee boots, the 21-year-old, who is signed to Next Models Paris, walked down the leaf-strewn catwalk-turned-forest alongside fellow Arab model Nora Attal. Azza Slimene held her own by standing out amidst a cast filled with stars including show-opener Grace Elizabeth, muse Kaia Gerber, and House fixture Camille Hurel. She joins the ranks of other Tunisian beauty’s to grace the Parisian Maison’s catwalk including Sonia ben Ammar and Hanaa Ben Abdesslem.

It wasn’t the first show that the doe-eyed Slimene appeared for during Paris Fashion Week. On Friday, she walked for Yohji Yamamoto’s tribute to Azzedine Alaïa, and was also cast in the Maison Rabih Kayrouz Fall 2018 show, as well as Justin O’Shea’s SSS World Corp Fall 2018 Menswear collection.
