A recent visit to the Middle East left renowned fashion designer, Tory Burch, inspired. After soaking up the Middle Eastern sun and style, Burch has brought to life her love and longstanding commitment to the region in a custom capsule collection of kaftans.
The collection, which is comprised of only four one-of-a-kind kaftans, will exhibit at the Tory Burch pop-up experience at Level Shoes in the Dubai Mall. From October 27 to November 13, Tory Burch lovers and fashionistas alike are invited to browse the curated collection distinguished by exceptional craftsmanship and true Tory Burch sophistication.
Taking nearly 300 hours to complete by a team of seamstresses with unequaled artisanal expertise, this collection enhances the Tory Burch signature silhouette, whilst honoring the designer’s classic and bohemian aesthetic roots.

Tory Burch Ivory Embellished Kaftan

The first masterpiece of the collection is the ivory embellished kaftan which takes a fitting shape and balloon sleeves in its form. Featuring hundreds of Swarovski crystals, each set in gold leather and hand-sewn to ivory silk dupioni, it is no wonder that this kaftan is the centerpiece of the collection.

In a nod to the brand’s fall 2019 ready-to-wear collection, the floral embellished kaftan provides a new take on the Tory Burch seasonal paisley print. Along with its lightweight and airy qualities, the kaftan features hand-beaded flowers finished with crystals at its neckline, as well as hems that have been scalloped and trimmed with a Lurex-threaded black Chantilly lace. Its belted waist and understated bell sleeves offer a distinctly feminine silhouette.

Tory Burch Black Embellished Kaftan

In another nod to the techniques used in the brand’s fall ready-to-wear collection, the black embellished kaftan features hundreds of sequins and paillettes, all hand-embroidered in a unique dégradé pattern. The piece was crafted in black silk chiffon and then lined in a silk satin charmeuse to provide optimum fluidity and softness on the skin.
Tory Burch Embellished Bird Kaftan

The fourth installment of the custom collection is the embellished bird kaftan. The unique garment features a playful element of exotic birds and a burst of floating crystal flowers. A mélange of crystals, ruched tulle and gemstones were intricately crafted to form the parrots while the silhouette was cut in silk taffeta and lined with mint silk charmeuse. This vivid piece features bell sleeves, slide-slits and Swarovski crystals on its hemline.
