The Duchess of Cambridge looks to have taken a leaf out of her new sister-in-law’s book when it comes to event dressing. Just one week after Meghan, Duchess of Sussex attended the Commonwealth Youth Challenge reception at Kensington Palace in a cheery, sunflower-yellow dress by Brandon Maxwell, HRH Catherine has adopted a similarly sunny shade.

The mother-of-three stepped out at the men’s Wimbledon finals on Sunday, sporting a summery Dolce & Gabbana dress, complete with romantic caped sleeves and an otherwise simply chic silhouette. The royal added a neutral bag, a silver watch, and gold necklace, and let her signature waves hang free. The royal was joined by husband Prince William at the match, which saw Novak Djokovic beat Kevin Anderson in three sets.

Just a day earlier, the duchess made her first solo outing with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, with the pair taking in the women’s final between Serena Williams and Angelique Kerber. Catherine kept things prim in a polka dot frock from Jenny Packham, in her much-beloved neutral hues.
