The Best Dressed Celebrities on the Brit Awards 2019 Red Carpet

Awards season is fully underway, resulting in glamorous red carpet looks from some of our favorite A-listers. Last night’s 39th edition of the Brit Awards brought together an array of singers, models, and actors, who dressed to the nines in dazzling creations plucked from regional and international labels. Canadian model Winnie Harlow lead the best dressed pack wearing a floral-printed Elie Saab dress from the Lebanese brand’s Spring 2019 ready-to-wear collection. She accessorized the floor-trailing, corseted creation with a matching, flower-motif headscarf over her raven tresses. Also finding a fan in a Lebanese design was British model Suki Waterhouse, who nearly demanded a double take in a pearlescent, pleated, tulle ruffled gown with feather embellishments from Rami Kadi.

Elsewhere, British-Albanian hitmaker Dua Lipa chose a dramatic design from Christopher Kane straight off the runway (the dress appeared on the label’s Fall 2019 runway just two days prior) for the red carpet before scooping up the Best British Single award for One Kiss featuring Calvin Harris. The dress featured a black, plunging lace top attached to a billowing, fuschia satin skirt. Meanwhile, Jorja Smith accepted the British Female Solo Artist award wearing a voluminous, feather-trimmed minidress from 16Arlington. Also turning heads on the red carpet was television presenter Maya Jama; the British-Somali beauty was a vision in a frilly, fairytale design from Loulou.

In addition to the striking red carpet looks, the Brit Awards 2019 were full of memorable moments. Beyoncé and Jay Z accepted their award together for Best International Artist (Group) at the ceremony, for their album Everything Is Love, which they released together as The Carters, with a portrait of The Duchess of Sussex in a crown appearing behind them.

In their video acceptance for their accolade, the superstar couple recreated the iconic scene from their music video, in which the two stand in front of the Mona Lisa at the Louvre Museum. This time, they were in front of a portrait of Markle, who they then turned around to face after saying their thanks.

“Thank you to the Brits for the award for Best International Group. I won this award back in 2002 with my besties, Kelly and Michelle,” wrote the superstar on Instagram. “How lucky am I to have been in a group with my other best friend, the GOAT Hova. 🙌🏾 In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy,” she added.
