For those looking to shop for Middle Eastern labels in Switzerland, The Amanqi Edit’s tenth edition pop-up is not one to miss. The Amanqi Edit is a digital media platform — founded in Geneva, and now mainly operated in Dubai and London — dedicated to curating the best of fashion, beauty, and culture. Taking place in Geneva next month, the pop-up will showcase six contemporary brands from the region. Speaking to Vogue.me, the founder of The Amanqi Edit Manal Waqi said, “We have been working on this project since January. As the founding city of The Amanqi Edit, we have always wanted to go back to Geneva for a pop-up, but it’s taken finding the right time and opportunity to make this event happen.”
“We’re looking forward to sharing the GCC talent with our Genevoise audience. We will be working with Geneva-based boutique Rush & Co and concept HerStreet for this,” added Waqif.
The designers featured at the pop-up are hand-picked as per the event. “For this event, we wanted to curate a selection of contemporary yet impeccable brands. In jewelry, we have the incredible Marmari, Jwaher Jewels and usFuur. While in ready-to-wear we have The Letter, W by Whyte and Zaid Farouki,” shares Waqi. At the pop-up, visitors can expect an interactive shopping experience in a space that celebrates some of the region’s best talent in an international setting.
Though The Amanqi Edit focuses mainly on fashion and accessories, the platform will soon have new additions to its beauty section, before which they will return to Dubai to host another pop-up in the month of August.
The Amanqi Edit pop-up will take place at HerStreet, Geneva from August 15 to 20.
