Like her model peers Bella and Gigi Hadid as well as Kendall Jenner, Taylor Hill is trying her hand at designing, in a collaboration with Joe’s Jeans. The Victoria’s Secret Angel will add her input and get involved with the design process of four capsule collections for the American brand founded by creative director Joe Dahan. Hill will be fronting the denim label’s campaign, shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti. Talking about the experience, Hill told WWD: “I thought [designing] was something different. As a model, you don’t really get to see this part, and I thought it was really cool to be a part of the process, and have an input, and make it my own.”
The line is scheduled to launch in April and consists of 20 pieces, ranging from jeans and denim jackets to shorts and T-shirts. Known for her laidback off-duty style, we can expect the offering to mirror Hill’s sartorial aesthetic. The model is often spotted rocking relaxed tees, slick biker jackets, and distressed boyfriend jeans when she’s not strutting down the catwalk for designer brands, including Dolce & Gabbana, Miu Miu, and Versace.
