If there’s ever a time to give new color combinations a try, it’s summer. Tara Emad did just that when she stepped out in an unexpected pairing of hues for an event in her hometown, Montenegro, all while offering party dressing inspiration.

Styled by Yasmine Eissa, the Egyptian-Montenegrin actor wore a dark green halter neck dress picked from Lebanese brand Azzi & Osta’s Number 7 ready-to-wear collection. Fuchsia pink straps wrapped around the neck and bodice were the highlights of the gown, and made Emad’s outfit stand out with little fuss. Her pick for the evening also came with a floor-grazing pleated skirt and a slit, which proved ideal for a seaside party on the peninsula of Luštica. Emad kept the rest of her look appropriately laid-back and completed it with metallic accessories, which were a chrome clutch, open-toed heels, golden hoops, and a watch.

The actor showed her appreciation for the designers and the stylist by taking to Instagram to share how much she loved her outfit. “I rarely ever wear colors. But this dress and this color combination is everything!” she wrote. Emad also couldn’t help but add another color to look via her manicure, which featured royal blue french tips.

Although a rare venture into color, the outfit is right up the alley for Emad who is known for her modern and fresh take on evening wear. If ‘less is more’ is also your approach to dressing up, take a page out of Emad’s style book, and mix up contemporary colors for your next event.
