The fashion week frenzy came to an end yesterday. Each fashion week presented talented designers and their meticulously curated collections, serving sartorial inspiration for next year’s spring and summer seasons. Here are some of the stylish trends that were spotted all over the runways. Get ready to curate your wardrobe accordingly.
Power suit
Suits and blazers were seen at many shows this season. A classic that never goes out of style. YSL’s Anthony Vaccarello showcased varying renditions of the classic in different colors and textures, with all looks styled immaculately, serving inspiration for all the corporate outfits. Additionally, Uma Wang presented suits in differing silhouettes set for all occasions, along with Alexander McQueen, who presented suits with ruched waist-hugging detailing and other interesting details in true McQueen fashion.
Old Fashioned
This season witnessed the return of retro prints and aesthetics. Miu Miu’s varying patterns and colors were reminiscent of the 70s. Additionally, Gabriela Hearst’s dresses featured bright pops of color that almost resemble a Mondrian. Furthermore, the Spring/Summer 2025 Versace collection also honed a nostalgic element with baby pastel shades, pops of yellow, silk, and of course the bright red stockings, which paid homage to the brand’s history.
Big collars
Big collars with frills, furs, and tulles dominated the runways of several shows this season. At Schiaparelli, Daniel Roseberry presented elevated collars—enmeshing the extravagance the brand hones even in their ready-to-wear looks. Chanel had a lot of looks with eclectic collars paired with the maison’s signature tweed. Another brand that presented a rendition of fun collars was Sacai, which incorporated different silhouettes into their minimalistic looks. Great for those looking to introduce a little edge into their outfits.
Boho
Like retro prints, boho vibes are also making a comeback this season. At Isabel Marant, a lot of looks featured tassels on dresses, bags, and also earrings. The looks were paired with strappy sandals and boots, announcing the revival of the cowboy aesthetic. Cowboy emblems were also prominent in pieces from Gabriela Hearst, Marques Almeida, Ralph Lauren, and of course, Chloe.
Plaid
Although plaid never goes out of style and will remain a classic print forever, it has incurred a revival recently, and was spotted several times in different shows. Some of them included Acne, where models adorning plaid dresses, blazers, skirts, and shirts walked down the runway, presenting elevated basics perfect for everyday. At Sacai, we saw plaid looks elevated with transparent sequins. Other brands that artfully incorporated plaid into their showcases were Chopova Lowena and Ralph Lauren.

Floral frenzy
It seems like we can’t seem to get enough of florals every time spring is in the air, and this season is no different. The runways were graced with flowy florals, fun prints, and colors fit for strolls outside in the balmy weather. Loewe showcased many lightweight bouncy dresses with visible under hoops, which allowed the dresses to hold their interesting silhouettes. Furthermore, Schiaparelli numbers embodied a beautiful floral garden, different from usual patterns. Emilia Wickstead also showcased florals in different splashes of color and textures.
