Kuwaiti brand Marzook‘s It bag—the Pill—is having a playful transformation for its latest collection. Loved by stars including Beyoncé, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Ariana Grande, Amal Clooney, and Kylie Jenner, the label’s pieces have long been the ultimate accessory to dial up the glam factor of an outfit, and the new capsule aims to do that and much more this season.

“The capsule collection is inspired by Endless Summer,” shares Shouq Marzook who, with Fahad Marzook, makes up the sibling and designer duo who is injecting a dose of joy-sparking colors into the Pill bags for the new launch. “It is a time of the year when days turn into nights, outdoor living becomes the norm, and that feeling of being carefree makes us feel magical,” she adds. “Now that we are returning to a semi-Covid-free world, the idea of an incredible summer is on everyone’s minds.”

Aiming to capture and encourage this very mood, the Pill bag comes in five saturated colorways of Ivory Smoke, Blue Sky, Lime Green, Watermelon High, and Lemon Chiffon. “The flushed tonal effect is fresh and different from the previous Pill styles,” says Shouq of the pieces which feature one color all over—from the clasp to the strap—as a departure from the bag’s usual gold and silver accents. Whether accessorizing an already bold outfit, or a neutral one, the Marzook siblings want the new Pill bag to be the ideal “pop of excitement and an exuberant energy” to their customers’ looks. “We can see the Marzook woman, effortlessly stylish as she is, carrying one of the tonal bags to the beach with her coordinated swimsuit and cover-up,” they say. “She might be heading to a beach lunch with her friends ready for it to be a fun day-to-night kind of thing. This bag complements the Marzook woman’s sun-kissed skin and her summery outfits perfectly.”

As part of the brand’s strong emphasis on creating environmentally friendly and sustainable products, the bags have been made using polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), a biocompatible and 100% recyclable material. The new Pill bag capsule collection launches exclusively online on Marzook.co on July 26, 2022, with Shouq adding that summer vacation hotspots like Mykonos, Capri, Sardinia, and Marbella are looking forward to stocking the launch for their fashion-savvy clients.
