Yes, You Can Recreate Amal Clooney’s Royal Wedding Look

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle‘s Givenchy wedding gown wasn’t the only dress that captured the world’s attention at Saturday’s royal wedding.

According to Lyst, a global fashion search engine, Amal Clooney‘s marigold Stella McCartney dress was the most sought-out outfit from the ceremony. The Lebanese-British human rights lawyer arrived at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle arm-in-arm with her husband, George Clooney, to witness Prince Harry tie the knot with Markle.

For the grand occasion, Clooney chose a yellow, mid-length dress that fell just below the knees. The 1940s-inspired frock featured cap sleeves and a streamlined silhouette, and she accessorized the dress with matching yellow pumps and a fascinator hat by Stephen Jones. Reportedly, approximately 17,000 people took to the Internet to search for the yellow garb since Saturday, meanwhile, searches for “yellow dresses” saw a 1,500 per cent spike this week.

The bad news is that Clooney’s sun-filled dress isn’t available online yet. The good news? We were able to find equally striking canary dresses that are just as elegant. Peruse the slides above for 10+ chic dresses to help you recreate Clooney’s look this summer, and read on for a breakdown of all of the hair and makeup products she used.

Beauty breakdown

Clooney’s beauty look was equally as bold. When it came to her makeup, the lawyer tapped celebrity-favorite face painter Charlotte Tilbury, who was also responsible for her head-turning Met Gala makeup, to create her on-point berry pout, bold, neatly-groomed arches, and flawless, lit-from-within complexion. Her hair consisted of loose, brushed out waves dreamed up by hairdresser Miguel Martin Perez from Josh Wood Atelier in London to complete the ultra-glamorous look.

First, Tilbury started with the complexion. The makeup artist mixed a lighter and darker shade of the Light Wonder Foundation to achieve the ideal tone. She then used the Charlotte Tilbury Retoucher to conceal and correct any blemishes that needed extra attention. To make the eyes appear brighter, Tilbury reached for the brand’s Miracle Eye.

To define the brows, the makeup artist used the Brow Lift Eyebrow Pencil in Brooke S to carve out the arches before setting them in place with the Legendary Brows Eyebrow Gel in Linda. To emphasize the eyes, Tilbury combined the Luxury Palette in The Sophisticate and Eyes to Mesmerise in Marie Antoinette. A creamy liner on the lash lines and a couple coats of the Legendary lashes Volume 2 mascara made her eyes pop.

Lastly came the lips. Tilbury mixed four different formulas— Lip Cheat in Bond Girl, Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bond Girl and Walk of Shame, and Hollywood Lip in Show Girl — together to achieve the perfect berry hue.

As for the hair, Perez prepped Clooney’s raven tresses using Hair Rituel by Sisley. First he cleansed Clooney’s locks with the Revitalizing Smoothing Shampoo, followed by the brand’s Regenerating Hair Mask. To add shine and glossiness to the strands, the hairdresser saturated the lawyer’s lengths with the the brand’s Precious Hair Care Oil.
