Selena Gomez just embraced two of this spring’s biggest trends—and looked flawless doing it.

On April 9, the Only Murders in the Building star shared a new TikTok in a gorgeous pink dress and cropped jacket combo. The dress, which appears to be made of some sort of tweed fabric, featured two cutouts on the sides for a bit of spice. If you’ve been following red carpet fashion this season, you’ll know that Barbie pink has been a huge color story in 2022, while cutout dresses have been dominating every Best Dressed list.

Gomez’s TikTok also featured the bottleneck bob she debuted on the app at the end of March, in which she also declared her relationship status as single. In the new video, she lip-synced the audio, “I’m going out tonight so hide your men. Not because I want them, but because I don’t want to see a singular man on my outing.”

She captioned the video, “Facts tho.”

Gomez wore the look to participate in an Only Murders in the Building panel at the Deadline Contenders Television event in Los Angeles.

Despite her love of making TikTok videos, Selena Gomez revealed in a recent interview that she hasn’t been on the internet in over four years. Does it really count as being “on the internet” if she creates the content and sends it to her team to post on her behalf? According to Gomez, who recently launched a new website called Wondermind to make mental health resources more accessible, the answer is no.

“I haven’t been on the internet in four and a half years. It has changed my life completely,” Gomez told Good Morning America on April 4.“I am happier, I am more present, I connect more with people. It makes me feel normal.”

Gomez explained that she needed to distance herself from the internet’s constant scrutiny. “I can’t believe that I’m where I am mentally, just because of how I took the necessary steps in order to kind of remove myself from that,” she said. “Because it’s just not normal.”
