Yesterday, music superstar-turned-designer Rihanna returned to New York Fashion Week with Savage X Fenty‘s Fall/Winter 2019 collection. The runway show at the Brooklyn’s Barclays Center can only be described as one big party, which is always the case, especially when Rihanna is involved. Enlisting the help of her musical friends, the show featured live performances by Halsey, Migos, DJ Khaled, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Fat Joe, Fabolous, and Tierra Whack.
Other familiar faces spotted on the runway were 21 Savage, Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Christian Combs, Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls, Laverne Cox, Normani, and Paloma Elsesser. Just like last year’s show, this too was a celebration of diversity and size-inclusivity.

Over the past few years, without even releasing an album, Rihanna has garnered many accomplishments. Earlier this year she made history by becoming the first black female to create an original brand under the luxury conglomerate of LVMH. Things won’t be slowing down for the singer any time soon as she is currently working on her highly-anticipated ninth studio album R9 which is set to release later this year.
