With over 44K fans on Instagram and counting, Saudi Arabia born singer Rotana has released her latest single, “The Cure,” to a core following of fans with a series of teaser on her social platforms. Now the artist has collaborated with Vogue Arabia in a remake of the music video with a wardrobe powered by Fendi’s Spring 2017 collection.
For the shoot, Rotana wears a sequence of looks fresh from the Fendi runway, including a textured oyster-colored dress contrasted by off-duty monochrome stripes and relaxed jersey separates. The co-star to the Rotana X Vogue Arabia video is the “Kan I” bag—a versatile, stud-lock chain bag that fits in all of the essentials a career girl requires on set.
Reflecting on the song, Rotana comments: “‘The Cure’ is a song about dysfunctional love. It’s the itch for someone who you think may cure a pain inside. You’re desperate and vulnerable. But when you’re aware of it and own it, there is such power to that. I am a woman realizing my destructive patterns in love. This song is an expression of that.”
Join Rotana and Vogue Arabia’s high octane tea party to see “The Cure” delivered like never seen before—and add the track to the top of your playlist.
