This weekend, the Tunisian beauty took to Instagram to share a series of photos that showed her proving the versatility of the fail-safe hue. Below, Vogue Arabia takes you through five of the model’s must-see ensembles.

Welcome to the Matrix

The first of Rym Saidi’s many selfies showed her taking a leaf out of The Matrix aesthetic and opting for a sleek black high-neck dress with glossy boots, a leather bag, and a smart jacket carried on her arm. To really go all-out with the severe look, Saidi slicked her ebony bob back, and opted for cat-eye sunglasses. Minimal gold jewelry completed the outfit.

Bling + black

A little bit of sparkle goes a long way for special outings. In her second selfie, Rym Saidi posed for the camera in a black mini dress that showed off her lean figure and also drew attention for its rhinestone-detailed straps. To complement her dress, the mom-of-two went with sparkling statement earrings and a delicate tennis bracelet. A mini Lady Dior and strappy heels added the final touches.

Corsets for the win

Innerwear as outerwear? Yes, says Rym Saidi. Looking ready for the red carpet, the model’s next snapshot showed her pairing a strapless black corset with a slinky skirt. A matching scarf wrapped around the neck, while gold earrings and a bold red lip color brought in just the right amount of drama. Once again, wet look locks elevated the overall ensemble.

The LBD club

While corsets, jackets and statement dresses are tempting, one staple that deserves a spot in every woman’s closet is a classic little black dress. In Rym Saidi’s case, the perfect LBD comes with a bodycon silhouette and flattering halter neckline. For her night out, Saidi paired the evergreen number with playful tie-up heels and pretty gold accents. Don’t miss her layered necklaces.

Playing with textures

The best thing about wearing head-to-toe black? There’s no limit to the number of textures you can pair together to create fun new looks. In one of her last pictures of the album, Rym Saidi amped up a simple black ensemble by way of a woven leather belt that added shape and dimension to her outfit. Stacked bracelets and poker straight locks were all she needed to ace the sleek aesthetic.
