Your Exclusive Look At Romy Hourani’s Latest Collection

You’d be right in thinking you’ve seen one or two of Romy Hourani’s latest designs somewhere before. The designer’s clothes take pride of place in the wardrobes of some of the Middle East’s favorite It girls, including Mona Kattan and Karen Wazen B. We can see why. With classic silhouettes featuring a modern, yet feminine twist, her pieces are wardrobe staples at their best. From floor sweeping dresses in a host of different prints, to luxurious fabrics crafted into statement separates – there’s an option for every occasion.

For her second collection, Hourani was inspired by her Swedish grandfather, who acted in silent movies alongside the likes of Greta Garbot. Hourani’s clothes reflect the romance of this classic era of film. Born to a Swedish Father and Haitian mother, the designer lived in New York, Miami, and Rome before settling in Dubai three years ago. Her aesthetic mirrors the different styles she has picked up throughout her vibrant, and much traveled, life.
