6 Celebrity Who Are Already Fans of Maximilian Davis – Ferragamo’s New Creative Director

The young London-based designer Maximilian Davis has announced that he will be embarking on a new and exciting fashion journey as the creative director of Salvatore Ferragamo.

The Manchester-born creative, who showcased his eponymous brand’s autumn/winter 2022 collection during London Fashion Week last month, said on Instagram that he was “deeply honored” to be joining the renowned Italian label. Additionally, Davis, who was tapped by Lulu Kennedy to create under the Fashion East umbrella in 2020, shared that he was “looking forward to articulating his vision”.

Even before Davis, who cut his teeth at Grace Wales Bonner, landed the high-profile new gig, his harlequin patterned garments and elegant evening dresses had become an A-list favorite. Kim Kardashian’s outing in his plunging scuba body threatened to break the internet, and is up there with the all-time great celebrity rebound outfits. Meanwhile, self-proclaimed bad gal Rihanna has had several major moments in Davis’s designs. Her ComplexCon outfit in November, which included a show-stopping carmine halter from the spring/summer 2022 line, sent social media into a frenzy.

Below, six celebrities who can’t get enough of the Central Saint Martins graduate – and new creative director of Salvatore Ferragamo’s – designs.
