A lot has been said of Rihanna‘s maternity style during her first and second pregnancies, especially how it remains unchanged despite the baby bump. Her latest look is a testament to just that, and further proves how the superstar is unafraid to take sartorial risks and start new trends, even with baby number two on the way.

The 35-year-old made a rare attendance at a fashion show last night in Paris, for the Louis Vuitton SS24 menswear show by its new creative director, Pharrell. Joined by her partner A$AP Rocky, with whom she shares her first child RZA, Rihanna was dressed in head-to-toe denim from the French fashion house. The Barbadian singer looked to her signature sporty-glam style for the night out, and was dressed in a loose-fitting jacket and trousers co-ord in a gradient pixel print from the new collection, and emblazoned with the ‘LV Lovers’ logo for the star-studded show—referring to Pharrell’s home state’s slogan, ‘Virginia is for lovers’.

Channeling her 2022 Met Gala look, Rihanna accessorized the outfit with a beanie adorned with a diamond brooch and layered jewelry for added glamour. The highlight? A sparkling watch strapped around her neck like a choker. Foregoing the functionality of the timepiece, and instead choosing to make the most out of its visual appeal, Rihanna tapped Jacob & Co. for a one-of-a-kind “watch choker” modeled after the luxury brand’s Brilliant Flying Tourbillon. The bespoke piece is set with 30 carats of baguette-cut white diamonds, plus another 338 brilliant-cut ones set onto the movement, and is valued at US $670,000.
This is not the first time the singer has picked a Jacob & Co. creation for a memorable moment. For her record-breaking performance at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show earlier this year, she wore a Jacob & Co. Northern Lights watch, which came with red sapphire crystals and a matching strap.
