Rihanna Attends the Dior Couture Show in Luxe Black Brocade Separates

Paris Couture Week has already seen more than a handful of celebrities in attendance, from Jennifer Lopez to Zendaya. Among them, Rihanna’s Dior outfit stands out not just for its luxurious elements, but also its historic reference.

Rihanna has long been a Dior girl. As the house’s first Black brand ambassador, she’s been featured in their dreamy campaigns and has often graced the front rows of their star-studded shows. Her last appearance on the Dior FROW, while heavily pregnant with her first child, saw her steal the spotlight in a black lace babydoll dress. Now, RiRi has taken an elegant turn at the brand’s latest presentation.

The pop sensation and Fenty mogul took her front row seat at Dior’s haute couture spring/summer 2024 spectacle in Paris wearing a puffed-up spin on a classic Dior silhouette. She chose a black brocade puffer jacket with a cinched waist and exaggerated lapels – a contemporary version of the brand’s iconic Bar jacket, which was designed by Monsieur Christian Dior himself in 1947 – and a matching figure-hugging midi-skirt. Rihanna completed the look with an oversized black cap, black leather opera gloves, and a black leather Lady Dior bag. Adding an element of contrast to her look was a pair of white ankle-strap pumps. Oh, and eye-watering diamond jewelry, of course.

As for her beauty look, Rihanna’s Dior outfit was perfectly complemented by bold ombré lips that faded from almost ebony edges to soft pink in the middle, and dewy lids accentuated with superstar lashes. Perfectly blended bronzer and artfully tousled locks completed the look.

In the world of celebrity front-row appearances, nobody generates as much excitement as the “Diamonds” singer. We can always count on her to consistently deliver jaw-dropping looks, even when she’s embracing a more understated, ladylike style. Thank goodness for Rihanna.
