On May 23, the “Diamonds” singer poked a bit of fun at the stealth wealth trend popularized by the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Succession’s Shiv Roy by rocking a 9-carat pearl-shaped diamond toe ring, which is estimated to be worth around $1 million, according to Page Six. Jewelry expert Maxwell Stone of Steven Stone Jewellers also told the publication that the pearl shape diamond is “believed to symbolize the empowerment and independence of the wearer,” making it the “perfect choice for a global superstar like Rihanna.”
“Quiet luxury,” Rihanna captioned the clip, which features the singer walking in a pair of sparkling heels to show off the unexpected accessory.

It’s likely Rihanna recorded the short clip the same day she wore her pre-Met Gala feathered Chanel look, featuring a white feathered mini-dress with a matching jacket and hat from the fashion house’s 1994 collection. On April 30, she posted the avant-garde look on Instagram, which also included the Amina Muaddi sandals and XIV Karats toe ring.
