Chopard has just unveiled its collaboration with superstar singer Rihanna, aptly titled “Rihanna Loves Chopard Haute Joaillerie.” The Bad Gal, whose love affair with Chopard is well-documented on the red carpet, was tapped by the luxury watch and jewelry house to design her very own collection for the brand last April.
Ahead of its debut this month, the Barbados-beauty provided a sneak peek of her brand-new collection on various occasions. At the 2017 Grammy Awards, the fashionably late star stepped out on the red carpet wearing a custom Armani Privé crystal-embroidered tangerine top and dramatic deep-black silk organza plissé skirt, which she paired with multicolored chandelier earrings and a marquise-cut diamond solitaire ring from her collection.
A few months later, she practically shut down the red carpet at the Rei Kawakubo-themed Met Gala in New York, wearing a Comme des Garçons look from the Fall 2016 runway, complemented with flower drop earrings.
At Cannes, she was a picture of elegance in a Dior Haute Couture off-white silk taffeta coat and bustier dress, heightened with understated pieces from her collection with Chopard. The singer turned up the glamour in a toast to her collaboration with Chopard, arriving at the collection’s dinner wearing layers of opulent diamonds: sparkling drop earrings, a choker, watch, and rings, that only shone brighter against her black strapless Ralph & Russo gown.
