From Weddings to Parties, This Rick Owens Dress Has Been a Hit Among Countless Celebrities This Season

Rick Owens SS22

Those looking to make a statement on the red carpet can’t go wrong with a Rick Owens dress. One, in particular, has stood out to most celebrities this year, and rightfully so. Named the Prong Dress, the edgy number’s highlight is the top part, which is best described by the American brand as a “strapless structured bodice with a boned geometric cut-out front and folded bust detail.”Although the dress is available in a mini, mid-thigh length, its full, gown version has been the top pick for style stars like Kim Kardashian, and Heidi Klum, actors Ayesha Curry and Nazanin Mandi, and singers Monica and Mae Muller.

Other versions of the Prong Dress, all of which feature the same head-turning bodice have been just as popular. Kardashian first wore a flowing skirt version from the brand’s SS22 collection to Paris Hilton’s wedding, cementing the dress’ status as an unexpected wedding guest look, which was also favored by model Paloma Elsesser. Given Kardashian’s love for all things body-hugging and dramatic, it’s no surprise then that the reality TV star and entrepreneur was also spotted in the dress in another color and fabric. For her appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden last month, the 41-year-old looked to a futuristic version of the dress, made with a metallic silver material.

With wedding and party season around the corner, expect to see this bold yet flattering creation picked by many more familiar faces.
