After a chance encounter at a vintage furniture fair, Rianna Nektaria Kounou and Nina Kuhn seemed destined to start a colorful journey together. Fast-forward to today, after countless travels across the globe rummaging and scouting for the rarest and finest silk scarves and textiles, and the design duo behind Rianna + Nina are set to expand with a new space at Browns in early June 2017.

Berlin-based Rianna + Nina turns unearthed treasures into luxury kimono robes and fold-over bags that revive the heritage garment with a so-2017 spin. “We create products with a story, that are fun, exclusive and surprise our clients – those who believe they’ve seen it all,” says Nina.

“Our women are seeking something different and love the feeling of owning a piece that nobody else will have in their closet,” she says.  The brand’s quirky take on the traditional robe will add a dose of saturated color to your wardrobe and prove to work across the seasons – simply add or subtract clever layering.

Rianna + Nina launches its collection this week on Browns. The brand is also available at Joyce Hong Kong, Moda Operandi, Blu Boutique Capri, KaDeWe Berlin, Luisa Beach Mykonos, and online.
