Razane Jammal is currently on a streak of stunning evening gowns, and her latest look is further proof of it. While at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, the Lebanese star attended the Women’s Stories Gala, making a solid case for the timeless sartorial power of the red dress.
The Paranormal actor, who was named Middle East ambassador for Dior last year, naturally looked to a statement piece from the French fashion house for the evening. Her pick of choice was a strapless and figure-hugging gown; the classic silhouette of which testified that less is indeed more when it comes to the sultry shade of red. Styled by Yasmine Eissa, Jammal paired the dress with glittering jewels in the form of a Cartier necklace, earrings, and bracelet while fully embracing Old Hollywood codes with flawlessly coiffed hair on the side, and a bold red lip.
The ultra-feminine look seemed to echo the theme of the evening, which saw a number of female actors from the region and beyond come together to uplift and support each other with the help of the Red Sea International Film Festival and Vanity Fair Italia. While this is Jammal’s third Dior look in Cannes, the actor has also championed her Lebanese roots with two beautiful Elie Saab numbers. Earlier in the day, the 35-year-old spent time with the event’s honorees sea-side, wearing a tropical white and green halter-neck dress from the Beirut-based brand. She also stepped out in another Elie Saab gown for the opening night of the film festival, this time, a sleeveless turquoise green gown with ruffled detailing at the neck.

With many more days of the eventful festival to go, one can expect Jammal to continue to put her best fashion foot forward—whether that’s in a Dior creation or an Elie Saab one from closer to home.
