Having successfully presented the Rami Kadi Fall 2017 Couture collection, “Sweet Chaos,” in Paris at Couture Week in summer, the 2016 DDFC/Vogue Fashion Prize nominee is amplifying his seasonal collection with an additional capsule offering.
Including breathtaking gowns in voluminous tulles and candy-whipped hues, the silhouettes in the Zephyr capsule are primed for high society events. In keeping with the brand’s DNA for thought-provoking designs, the messages behind the collection are on-point for topics at the zeitgeist of fashion. “Zephyr collection is inspired by earth, its power, its colors,” Kadi tells Vogue.me. “Neutral, strong, and deep, Zephyr is an ode to our beautiful earth and the importance for us to preserve it.”
The Lebanese designer has truly stepped out from his training with leading designers Rabih Kayrouz and Georges Chakra and has garnered a strong following in the Middle East for his own design signature. His loyal clientele list includes Myriam Fares, Maya Diab, and Ahlam. This capsule collection is an addition to his mainline, and is a regular among his seasonal offerings.
“The woman who will wear it is the same one as the one who wears our main collections,” adds Kadi. “A strong, feminine, and particular woman. A woman who is not afraid to look different and be noticed because of her very special dress. However, Zephyr is more romantic than the Fall 2017 collection, it gives the opportunity to a discrete, classical, and shy yet elegant woman to wear it.”
Rami Kadi’s couture house is participating in #PinkOctober and will be donating 5% of its sales to the Lebanese Breast Cancer Foundation for the month of October. Rami Kadi is available to purchase online, and the new Zephyr collection is out now.
