Syrian-born couturier Rami Al Ali has just embarked on the next stage in his brand’s history, by launching his Rami Al Ali White line.
The extension of his namesake brand into Rami Al Ali White will focus on an annual edition of delicate and timeless ready-to-wear evening dresses and bridal designs. The yearly collection will stray away from trend-focused designs, and instead reflect timeless, yet modern, pieces in the hope of changing the current ‘status quo’ present in the fashion world, which is compact with overproduction.
Al Ali’s designs are known for the intricate detailing and decadent embroidery that is included in every piece. The Rami Al Ali White line will be no different, offering the signature Al Ali design of elegant silhouettes mixed with a contemporary twist. The new line will feature 17 truly inspiring looks, each striking in their own way, which encapsulates the brand’s commitment to forward-thinking fashion, which instead prioritizes the longevity of styles and condemns practices relating to fast-fashion and overproduction.
Al Ali’s curiosity for fine fabrics and delicate detailing has seen success for his brand, since its conception in 2001. His house’s greatest hits have been re-imagined for the Rami Al Ali White line, embracing popular silhouettes and enhancing them with the designer’s signature detailed handwork. Each look in this first collection will reflect a different style and silhouette, ranging from the bold asymmetrical designs to the elegant off-the-shoulder dresses. It is described as “medley demi-couture pieces in romantic, chic, playful, and delicate styles to suit every woman.”
On the development of his new line, Rami Al Ali explained that it felt like the next step in the brand’s success story. “The decision to launch Rami Al Ali White was one that was made some time ago and felt like a natural next step for the brand. However, in light of the recent global pandemic, the launch date for the collection was accelerated. This extension of the Rami Al Ali brand is one that I am very excited to share with our customers.” Al Ali explained.
