Made-to-Measure Calvin Klein is Happening

On the eve of Spring 2017 Couture Week in Paris, Raf Simons unveiled his first collection for Calvin Klein via Instagram, titled Calvin Klein by Appointment 1-14. Simons was appointed chief creative officer of the American brand in August 2016. The industry captured its first glimpse of Simons’ CK vision with a 14-piece made-to-measure offering of clothing and accessories, ahead of the Fall 2017 collection debut during New York Fashion Week next month. Inspired by American women and fashion, the handcrafted collection marks a new direction for the brand; clients can get a taste of Calvin Klein’s bespoke service, which was previously solely available for celebrities.

The reveal rolled out with a campaign photographed by Willy Vanderperre––who worked with Simons during his tenure at Dior and his eponymous label––and was styled by Olivier Rizzo. Rising star and Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown, model and actress Abbey Lee, and model Natalie Westling front the campaign. With distinct designs that evoke couture sensibilities, Simons states: “A cast of distinct individuals brings the idea to life, chosen for who they are, where an essential strength of character is key. Whether famous or unknown, all are treated equally.”

Calvin Klein by Appointment 1-14 is set to launch on April 1. Customers can book by emailing ByAppointment@ck.com.
